Motorola Gm360 Programming Software User Manual Eurocontrol
Hi Guys,
Sorry if there is already a thread about this but I couldn't find one.
I have the above mentioned radio and need to program it to work with a Riedel Riface system. Unfortunately, Riedel has nothing to do with my problem.
I have an after market RIB Cable with all sorts of fancy connections which I have tested with my supplier and therefore know it works.
Every time I try and read my device, I get an error which reads the following:
'Couldn't open port. Check weather device/RIB are powered on or not, and the device to RIB, and RIB to PC connection is ok.'
I am using a USB to RS232 converter which has also been tested and works.
The software I am using is R03.11.16 on a windows 7 professional 64bit laptop.
Radio info is as follows:
SW R03.15.00
CP R8.00
I have tried everything I can think of to get this working and it seems to be something on my PC that doesn't allow the port to be opened.
Are there any suggestions about what might be causing my problem?
